The Moletsane Alumni Association has evolved from a social platform to a registered NPO with a mission to uplift learners. Our charity serves as a vibrant social platform and extends its impact to education by providing uniforms for learners in need, honouring teachers, and contributing to the enhancement of school facilities.
What We Do
At the Moletsane Alumni Association, our mission is not just a statement but a series of impactful initiatives that have been shaping our community since 2010. We are now a registered NPO number 294-693 NPO having evolved from a social platform to a dynamic organization committed to facilitating positive change.
Our focus on infrastructure refurbishment started with basic but important initiatives, cleaning the laboratory in line with environmental law requirements, repainting and providing shelving in the book store-room.
We are, in 2024, embarking on refurbishing the laboratory.
We have consistently provided learners winter uniform as part of our support program to ensure learners are equipped for the colder months, instilling a sense of care within the community. This would not have been possible without the alumni members who have made this possible year on year.
We have now attracted non alumni who are supporting our cause. We say thank you.
From 2025, we will improve what we offer to the learners based on what we continue to learn about their needs.
In 2017 year we recognised the significant contributions of past Principals and Teachers, and honoured their dedication to the educational landscape at Moletsane, the school that produced us. In 2022 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the school.
In January 2024 we held a breakfast for the outstanding results that the school achieved. The transformation of our organisation in 2023 into an NPO underscores our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our community.
Empowering learners and incoming alumni is at the core of what we do.
The next initiative is the introduction of business programme called Building Business Wise Programme to provide business skills and knowledge for personal and professional growth. Our community engagement involves key stakeholders, including the Principal, School Management Team, Educators, School Governing Body, and Learners, as we marshal resources to enable learners to be their best.
